U-505 In Chicago

After seeing the U-853, which was a moving experiance for me, i can not wait to see the U-505 a fully intact type IXc u-boat the same design as the U-853.

its in Chicago, about a 12 hour drive, not to bad we did it to go to the cooper, river.

anyone want to go along?

Chicago U-boat trip

I would be intrested in going to see the u-boat. I'm up for the drive. We drove to Cooper and it worked out okay.
